Raw Foods, Fruits and Vegetables




Foods provided by nature in their raw state have abundance of exogenous enzymes. Enzymes help in digestion of foods, assists in the cleansing process by acting as scavenger, breaking down cholesterol and fat deposits. Names of all enzymes end in ase, thus lipase, an enzyme that breaks down fat, protease breaks down protein, cellulase assists in breaking down cellulose and amylase breaks down starch.
