Most of us have his/her own experience, its either sad or happy but my mom's is different. She had gone to her best friend's wedding. The church ceremony was on a bright Sunday morning. She was busy fixing herself and had no time to take her food supplement, so she decided to tuck it in her handbag thinking she will be out for the whole day.
There was much conversation and picture taking during the reception. After a while she felt nauseated. She went to the comfort room and vomit all the foods eaten. Later there was a feeling of abdominal cramping followed by diarrhea. She sweat so much and felt very weak. Then she returned to the reception hall to find the others were also similarly affected.
She remembered the colostrum capsules in her handbag, took two capsules right away with water and sit still. After 30 minutes all symptoms were gone. She was greatly relieved together with those who had taken colostrum. Other visitors were rushed to a nearby hospital.
The doctor said they have been stricken by a Staphylococcal Food Poisoning which is fatal if not treated immediately. It is the result of eating food contaminated with a staphylococci toxins.
The food served during the reception was prepared the night before. Her friends had to thank the prompt action of colostrum that in just 30 minutes vomiting, diarrhea, and weakness were gone. We discovered from my mom's experienced that colostrum, in cases of emergency like food poisoning could saved lives.
